The structure is ambitious, and the layered story-within-a-story handles time and space with imagination and clarity, reminding me at moments of the Kathāsaritsāgara (and Kawad) tradition. I was struck by the surreal tone, the play of wit and riddles, and the way Rajasthani architecture, art, and design elements are woven into the narrative. There’s also something of an Alice in Wonderland spirit in its dream-logic and shifting ground. The woman's inner journey, with her doubts, reflections, and paranoia, gives the film its emotional and psychological depth.”
